Betty Beck joined our team at Falls Village Veterinary Hospital in April of 2003. She moved to North Raleigh in 2002 with her family from Fayetteville, NC.

In Fayetteville, Betty worked as a receptionist for Dr. Margaret Wright at Seventy First Animal Hospital for four years. A job change for Betty's husband required a move to Raleigh. Her love and compassion for animals as well as their owners helped her decision to find another job in veterinary medicine. We feel very fortunate to have found her at the right time and to have her on our staff.

Betty was promoted to Head Receptionist in April of 2005. She and all of our receptionists are ready to greet you immediately, with a warm smile, and a genuine concern for the health of your pet.

Ginny Rigsbee Practice Manager

Ginny joined the staff in 1984 as a veterinary assistant. Along with her love for animals she also had a strong desire to learn the business side of running a veterinary hospital. She took over as practice manager in 1988, supervising a staff of four when we were in our old location in the Falls Village Shopping Center. Ginny remains in that position today, now supervising a staff of over 30 team members.

Ginny grew up in Southern Pines and attended NC State University. Her animal background included equestrian activities since age 12, and a former assistant manager's position at Williams Kennels here in Raleigh.

As practice manager, Ginny wants to ensure that our hospital, Doctors, and staff exceed all of our clients' expectations.

Liz Church Assistant Practice Manager

Liz Church has been with Falls Village Veterinary Hospital since moving from Atlanta in August of 2000.

While working on her Wildlife Biology degree at Auburn University, she worked with the South Eastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center. Her duties at the center ranged from educational programs with the public to assisting in medical treatment of injured birds. She also worked to rehabilitate and release many birds of prey back to the wild. After graduating in 1999, she moved back to her home town of Atlanta, where she began working as a small animal technician.

Liz and her husband relocated to Raleigh in 2000, at which time she began working here at Falls Village. She worked full time as a technician for 3 years before starting a family. She then moved into a part time technician position until August of 2006 when she became the Assistant Practice Manager.
